In summary, we were VERY lucky! We wanted adventure, and got it!
Was it hard? Not really, but riding the unwieldy bikes was a challenge. Imagine strapping a 50-pound bag of dog food on the rear...
* NO rain!
* NO flats!
* No forest fires, though we saw a new one on the Lolo Pass.
* No major breakdowns, well, John's bike had overheating issues on the first day.
* No major crashes. I think most everyone tipped over, but nothing major.
